Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 April 2026

These terms cover use of insightadvisory.uk and the EduSafe AI tool at /check. Using the site means you accept them. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Who we are

Insight Advisory UK is a sole-trader compliance consultancy operating from England, contactable at hello@insightadvisory.uk. Consultancy work (Tier 1, 2, and 3 services described on the home page) is contracted separately with its own engagement letter — these terms only cover the website and the free EduSafe tool.

EduSafe AI is guidance, not legal advice

The EduSafe AI tool produces a traffic-light verdict and findings against UK GDPR, the ICO Children's Code, the EU AI Act, COPPA, FERPA, CCPA, and Australian APPs. It is automated analysis based on the document you submit. It is not a Data Protection Impact Assessment, it is not legal advice, and it does not create a solicitor-client or DPO-client relationship.

For decisions that carry regulatory or contractual weight — onboarding a vendor, responding to an ICO query, settling a DPIA — get a qualified opinion. We offer that as a paid engagement; so do plenty of others.

Fair use of the free tool

What the tool says vs what we promise

EduSafe verdicts are produced by Anthropic's Claude model. The model is good but not infallible. Findings should be sanity-checked against the source document. We make no warranty that any specific verdict is correct, and we accept no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of a free EduSafe verdict.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited under English law.

Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising from the use of this website or the free EduSafe tool is capped at £100. For paid consultancy engagements, the engagement letter sets the cap.
